Wattle Range Council Service Centre

Completed ahead of schedule and within budget

The purpose-built Wattle Range Council Service Centre is the Council’s new principal office.

“This building brings all of our teams under one roof so we can serve the community more efficiently and effectively,” said Wattle Range Council Chief Executive Officer, Ben Gower.

“Built ahead of time and within budget, this facility reflects our commitment to sustainability, local investment, and long-term planning.”

The facility combines Spantech Longreach 650 roof with locally sourced materials that showcase the best the region has to offer. Local limestone in the curved feature in the Council Chamber, pillars, and planter boxes. Local timber and structural beams are prominent in the design and have been sourced from the Tarpeena timber mill.
